Ornit is celebrating 35 years of successful manufacturing and marketing activities in the field of specialized rivets. The company was initially an UK Avdel licensed manufacturer by the name of LEVDA. Kibbutz Or-Haner in Israel purchased the plant 35 years ago adopting the strategy of offering its customers an impeccable service, price competitiveness and uncompromising quality. Loyal to those principals the company embarked on the ISO 9002 campaign having the certification formally granted in 1995.

One of the most unique features of Ornit is its only interest in blind rivets manufacturing and marketing.

The R&D, the production and the marketing teams are solely concentrating their efforts in bringing new and ground-breaking  developments in the blind rivets domain to the markets without loosing focus of its area of expertise.

Ornit developed a number of brand names that over the years became renown and largely used by manufactures in many industries. Orlock, Orbolt, Ornilock and U-Fix are leading brand names, well known not only in the Automotive and Construction industries but lately in the Electronics and Solar-energy fields too.

The company is exporting 90% of its output to more than 30 countries to be counted among the leaders of this industry. It is, however, always seeking to increase the presence of its products worldwide and it is doing so through a network of experienced distributors that ensures the product delivery on time.

Unfortunately there is a lack of awareness among designers and manufacturers of the many application and cost advantages that generally rivets have and blind rivets in particular.

Ornit is embarking this year on an education campaign through institutions of high learning as well as the electronic media to teach the new generation of engineers and designers as well as the more experienced ones, the many characteristics and features of the products.

The objective of this campaign is to school the "young Turks" and the mature ones of the many advantages that blind rivets have in comparison with other fastening systems like screws, glues or welding.
